The VA LiveBoard service

VA LiveBoard is a downloadable app that gives you an overview of your business performance directly in a smartphone or tablet. The VA Liveboard is available at the AppStore and is ready to supply this information service right in the palm of your hand.

VA LiveBoard combines key data: Sales, Product mix, ROIP and Customer experience such as Voice of Customer program or CSO. Restaurant data is collected from various existing databases in the McDonald's system and made available directly in your phone or tablet in a very user-friendly and orderly manner 24 hours a day.

The information is displayed per restaurant and a total for a group of restaurants, depending on the user's access in the McDonald's System.

VA Liveboard - 3 Key Areas
The VA Liveboard is divided in 3 key areas;
Comparables, ROIP and Voice Of Customer / CSO.

• The Comparables section contains sales and product mix information retrieved from the Global Data Warehouse (GDW).
• The ROIP section contains information processed from the Performance Matrix system performed by the operations consultants in each store.
• The Voice of Customer / CSO section give you an overview of the Customer Experience for your restaurants.

Key data includes.
COMPARABLES (Sales)

• Sales & Guest Counts overview
• Product mix
• Service times
• Instore / McDrive sales and Day part overview
• All values are exported from Global Data warehouse. (If specific data are not visual for your estaurant it needs to be added in the McDonald's own export to GDW.)

ROIP (Restaurant Operations Improvement Process)

• Latest updates for the current modernized Global ROIP cycle (data from Global Performance Matrix)

Customer Experience. Voice of Customer or CSO (Current program selected by your market. Data comes directly from the supplier each market have choosen)

All data is refreshed multiple times per day. It is also possible to see historical data by choosing a history date.

The main target groups of the VA LiveBoard are Franchisees, Supervisors, Franchisee Restaurant Managers and key franchisee employees in franchise organization as well as Franchisee Consultants and Managers. The VA LiveBoard is created by Visual Art in collaboration with McDonald's. The VA LiveBoard is a mobile complement to the existing databases / internal McD system where the information is also available today

Data is automatically retrieved from the following databases/systems provided by McDonald's

Your information is secure to outsiders when Login is done with your personal McDonald's EID and password. Multiple personal EID for your key employees can be created by using the Global Account Manager (Contact your local IT department for more information regarding GAM).

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

• Personal McDonald's EID for each user
• Restaurant access via GAM
• iPad, or Smartphone

ACTION REQUIRED

• Use the GAM to create personal McDonald's EID for your key people. (Contact your local IT department for more information regarding GAM)
• Go to the www.valiveboard.com or to the App store to download the VA LiveBoard app
• Use the fuction *Share the App* to send a shortcut to a friend that can download their own version of VA LiveBoard

VA LIVE (Coming Q2 2017)

• Provides LIVE Sales and GC data from each restaurant
• Updated every 10 minutes
• Supports Apple Watch & iPhone/ iPad
• Currently in test. Will be launched Q1 2017

CHARGES & SUBSCRIPTIONS

• There is a charge per restaurant and per month to use VA LiveBoard. The cost includes an unlimited number of users from your franchisee organization (see system requirements). This charge must be paid in full by the Operator.
• The Charge shall be related to what it currently costs to obtain information from various databases and send them to your key people.
• In the Application, you can subscribe for the service where charges apply every 3 months for the following 3 months period.
• VA LiveBoard is not a requirement for the information since it is still, just as usual, available through McDonald's existing databases/systems.
